12 Bones Smokehouse & Brewing

🐾😂 So, we made a quick pit stop at this brewery after a busy day, and let me tell you, I really wanted to love this place! I mean, with a name like that, I was expecting a logo that would make my non-existent tail wag off! But alas, my hopes were dashed like a squirrel running across the street. 🐿️💨

The highlight of our visit? A super nice couple we met at the bar! She’s now following me on social media (obviously, who wouldn’t want to keep up with my fabulous Frenchie life?), and he’s a big-time philanthropist—just like yours truly! He shared some pretty cool stuff about what the community and Mills River Brewery are doing to give bikes to kids in need. It was pretty cool to see his pictures and my humans got to chat some about our passion for our veterans. 🥳🍖

Oh, and guess what? We even met another Frenchie family! Dog-friendly? You bet! They get major props for that! But I’m not so sure how much the brewtender cared that we were there. I mean, I was giving my best puppy eyes, and all I got was a shrug. Rude! 😒🐕

Now, my one human ordered a fruited IPA that apparently has great global reviews. But let me tell you, she found it “meh.” I mean, come on! If it’s not making her do a happy dance, what’s the point? Maybe we need to do a little more research and try again next year. 🕵️‍♂️🍺

So, all in all, it was a mixed bag. Nice patrons, dog-friendly vibes, but the brews and general atmosphere not necessarily up to snuff. 🐾✨
